Today we are with mutant whey protein review.
Mutant has really reinvented itself as a company and made some big strides lately on the supplement market. Recently, the company redesigned and redeveloped their whey product line and let me tell you, it’s good.
The new Mutant Whey protein comes in 5 different flavors and you can even get “dual chamber” packages where you get two flavors in one. The 5 flavors available are triple chocolate, vanilla ice cream, cookies and cream, strawberry cream, and chocolate fudge brownie. I can tell you I enjoyed all the flavors as they provided a consistent taste. The triple chocolate and chocolate fudge brownie were my favorites, but I am a sucker for chocolate. The most impressive feature of the whey protein is how much easier to mix and how consistent it comes out. You can tell, they have really nailed it down with this one!
Review of BioX Protein Powder
As far as nutritional stats you are getting a very respectable 22 grams of protein, 2.5 grams of fat, 3 grams of sugar, and a host of BCAAs included. Not bad for a “cheap” protein powder that is usually on sale. The rest of the ingredients are standard protein whey powder ones and there is nothing too concerning that really sticks out. I personally found this to be one of the few protein powders that didn’t give me that weird stomach feeling upon chugging the entire thing which was appreciated.
This brings me down to economics. Are there better-tasting protein powders with better nutritional stats? Sure. Do they cost significantly more? Absolutely. The value that you are getting with this mutant whey protein powder is insane. Amazon currently has the 5-pound tub listed for $39.99, compared to $49.99 for a similar product from a major brand.
In conclusion, mutant whey protein is a great economical buy. You might not be getting the top ingredients and average taste, but the price point cannot be beaten!
